Facebook Photo Search Without Login

When you stop using a social networking profile or website, it is a good idea to deactivate or delete your account. This will mean that your content is no longer visible online and should not be searchable online. It will also remove the risk of these accounts being used by others or hacked without you knowing.

This is exactly my question! I am not a member of FaceBook. I consider it an insidious corporation bent on destroying privacy. However, I know for a fact that I have been tagged in photos and that my biometric faceprint data is being collected without my permission. Is there any way to force them to automatically untag my photos without being a member, or better yet, force them to destroy the identifying data they have already collected (i.e. non-public data retained by FB even after tags are removed)? Any class action lawsuits in this area?

You need an app to view all the EXIF metadata on an iPhone or iPad, but you can strip location metadata from photos for free. Open a photo in Photos, and tap the photo to reveal the share icon. Tap the share icon and then tap Options at the top. Turn off Location and tap Done. You can then share or copy your photo to send it out into the world without location data.
